STAR scientists were in full force at the 104th American Meteorological Society (AMS) Annual Meeting taking place in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 28-February 1, 2024.Twenty seven STAR scientists presented on a variety of topics including fire weather/wildfire response, air quality, and the societal impacts of satellite data. The theme of this year’s meeting was “Living in a Changing Environment,” designed to define steps and scientific advances needed to minimize the impacts of climate change.
